Wrigley Orbit – advertising spot

Probably everyone knows Orbit gum. They are the most popular chewing gum in Poland. They are the ones who are involved in the Protect Children’s Smiles campaign every year and fund dental check-ups for children.

For several years in a row, we produced video and photographic materials for this campaign, which we want to present to you here. The project for Orbit was interesting in that it required quite specific casting.

We were looking for children aged 7-10 – character boys and girls of diverse beauty. Together with the Gawagai studio, we realized a series of castings, thanks to which we managed to find 5 children who appeared in the advertising spot as well as selecting a duo who also appeared in the photo campaign.

Our videos for this campaign were shot in stop motion using photographs specially taken for this campaign. The young models were tasked with performing a variety of funny poses wearing white T-shirts with captions on them. In post-production, however, sometimes our captions were changed to graphics or other content. Our stop-motion film was supposed to have a playful character, hence the music composed for the purpose, full of percussion instruments and the cheerful girlish voice of the young voiceover artist. The movements of our characters in the film are not fluid, the main idea of this project was a distinct stop-motion style which you can see here:
