How is a corporate video made?
There are some projects that are created periodically. In our case, these are the image films we make on behalf of Clockwork for Amica. Every year, the Amica brand presents it at the IFA Trade Fair in Berlin in September, which for us means that the summer for several years stands under the sign of the red logo of the global – local company from Wronki. In this article, we will tell you about our first realization on which we started work in late 2016.
The image film, which in this case can also be called corporate, tells the story of the Amica brand. Its action takes place in an elegant office, and the presented plots are staged in virtual space in the form of animated holograms or 3D elements appearing on the hero’s desk. Although it would seem that this is simply the office of one of Amica’s managers, the setting was a world designed specifically for this project. The space created on the shooting hall gave us the opportunity to create exactly the space we needed to place our animations and special effects.
TOY CAR – a patent that always works.
At the beginning of our video we use a small but catchy film trick. In a film shot taken from a steadicam, we see a toy car driven by the main character. Suddenly, the character pushes the car towards a frame with a black and white photo. Instead of driving behind the frame, the resorak drives directly into the road in front of the Amica factory captured in the photo and stops in the middle. In the following scenes, using 2D and 3D animation, we show the history of the Amica brand. Both charted data and animated 3D packshots appear above the desk.In the video, we used futuristic hologram styling to emphasize the modernity of the Amica brand. The main idea in our client’s brief was to emphasize that despite the awareness of history, the Amica brand is focused on modernity.
Everything is connected by voiceover narration, which in the case of our film had as many as 5 language versions. The film for Amica, which you can read about in this post, was presented at IFA in 2017. In future posts we will present other unveilings of this project….
And one more thing! It’s probably worth watching the whole thing.
